| Richard
Atkins brings years of experience to Faucett, Taylor &
Associates (FTA). After starting his career with a local accounting
firm he joined FTA in 1993. He is a partner with the firm’s tax
practice and has earned a reputation for finding creative and tax
efficient strategies for structuring business transactions. Richard’s
experience includes Federal and state compliance for corporations,
partnerships, and resident and nonresident individuals. He also devotes
a major part of his time to tax research, structuring real estate
transactions, stock option planning, entity selection and formation,
corporate and partnership reorganizations, and estate planning for high
net worth individuals. As a member of ALTA Richard plays tennis year
round, and is an avid outdoorsman. Richard has a Master of Professional
Accountancy and Master of Taxation from Georgia State University. He is
a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and
the Georgia Society of CPA’s.
