Allen has
years of combined public and industry accounting experience. His public accounting experience includes prior positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Crowe Horwath. For three years, he worked in industry as the assistant Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta. His public accounting experiences include providing assurance and advisory services to the financial services and real estate industries, with a heavy concentration in providing audit and other risk management services to community banks, both public and private. His public accounting experience on public bank holding companies provided him a strong basis of understanding of SEC reporting and auditing and implementation of internal

controls over financial reporting consistent with the requirements of Section 404 of the Sarbanes Oxley Act. His industry experience gave him a greater depth and breadth of understanding of bond and MBS accounting as well as derivatives and hedge accounting.
Prior to Allen's accounting career, he served as an active duty member of the United States Air Force between 1984 and 1995. During those twelve years, he served many positions and was involved in the first Gulf War. His last four years were served as an Air Force Recruiter for most of the northern half of Mississippi. Allen's highest awards received for his service included three Air Force Commendation Medals for meritorious service. Upon leaving the Air Force in 1995, Allen returned to college and graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Mississippi ("Ole Miss") with a Bachelor of Accountancy in 1997. In 2008, he graduated from Ole Miss with a Master of Accountancy in 1998. His academic achievements also included memberships in Beta Gama Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi and the recipient of the Mississippi Society of CPAs Top Graduate Award.
Allen is a native of Thomaston, Georgia and currently lives in the Kennesaw area with his wife and youngest son. His oldest son is a graduate of Valdosta State University and is serving as a First Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantry Officer.
